An Important Goal

Yes, I think it should be everyone’s goal to try to get through
this life without killing someone unnecessarily. Now, I know
this may be just how I feel about it as other people certainly
have their own perspective on the matter.
I also know there will always be people who irritate us to the point
that we fantasize eliminating them, but don’t actually do it
because of the consequences if caught by the authorities.
This is certainly the case with me, as I’ve imagined killing
certain people throughout my life, but haven’t done so
because I know I’d have a hard time adjusting to a cell
for 23 hours a day--not to mention how terrible it would be
to have to use a communal shower with those I’d never
associate with on the outside.
With this in mind, I think it would be best for all of us
to try to get along, but if one does know someone they dislike
enough to kill, they should try to spend as little time around them
as possible and even consider moving to a new city that’s at least
a hundred miles away. . .
