What We're Looking For

As writers, we know how intimidating it can be to submit works. Here is a place where you don't have to worry about people finding your art ridiculous; the ridiculousness is the point. This is not a place for in-the-box premises or fine literature. We want your emotional truths to shine through absurdity. When you think of us, think of Bryan Lee O'Malley, David Lubar, and Jack Stauber.

About Us

Patrick Crawley and Mia Huerta met during a fiction workshop class at the University of Arizona. Since then, they have both graduated with creative writing degrees and have interned for literature magazines. Now they have decided to create their own magazine that features stories that embrace the odd and the surreal.

Co-founder

Patrick Crawley

Patrick Crawley graduated from the University of Arizona with a major in Creative Writing and a minor in Journalism. His short story, "Pickles", was published by Vine Leaves Press Magazine in 2025. He enjoys both reading and writing fiction stories and while he likes writing adventure fiction, his favorite stories to read are ones that are not afraid to be a little "out there" in their narrative.

Co-founder

Mia Huerta

Mia Huerta graduated Magna cum Laude from the University of Arizona with a B.A. in Creative Writing and a minor in Psychology. She takes a lot of inspiration from the narratives of cartoons and video games, and believes that any story that holds meaning to someone is worthy of being called literature.
